The ABZORB 2000 biblioteca sneakers, created in collaboration with artist Aminé, are a unisex product made from mesh and rubber.

Aminé reinterprets the ABZORB 2000 silhouette in his own way: an acid green hue energizes the upper, while glossy inserts and a luminescent sole echo an extraordinary aesthetic. The whole thing is a playful nod to the library, a space of knowledge as much as community.

But this pair is more than just a flashy design. It's part of a well-thought-out narrative: the packaging, inspired by the North Portland Library book deposit, is treated like an art installation.

This official collaboration between Aminé and New Balance features a palette of green colors on its traditionally inspired upper and futuristic ABZORB SBS cushioning. This mix of tones references the library card distributed by the Multnomah County Library during the musician's childhood. The insoles also feature a fictional map of the library.
