Coperni is a Parisian women's ready-to-wear brand founded by Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant. After meeting at their design school, Mod'Art International, in 2009, they presented their first collection, pooling their talents in design for Sébastien and business acumen for Arnaud. They won the 1st Prix Podium Jeune Styliste in 2009, the Prix Jeune Espoir (awarded by the Institut Supérieur de Commerce in 2012), and the 1st Prix de Mod'Art International in 2010. In 2013, Sébastien launches Coperni Femme with the help of Arnaud, who continues to work at Balenciaga. They immediately win the ANDAM first collections prize. Their brand is distributed in several outlets, including Colette, le Bon Marché, the Webster, Opening Ceremony (NY, LA andLondon) and Following their appointment as artistic directors of Courrèges on May 6, 2015, the Coperni duo withdrew from the LVMH Prize.
