On Running is a Swiss company, based in Zurich, founded in 2010 by former Ironman champion Olivier Bernhard in partnership with David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti. It specializes in manufacturing sports shoes and boasts an exclusive cushioning technology as its unique selling point : a patented design called Cloudtec. On Running quickly made a name for itself in the world of high-level sport by becoming the favorite performance shoe brand of many athletes such as Nicolas Spirig, gold medalist triathlete at the London Olympics in 2012, or the tennis player professional Roger Federer who will even become a shareholder of the brand in 2019.
