By Parra is the second brand from Pieter 'Parra' Janssen, an artist, designer and professional skateboarder from Amsterdam. Parra's flair for design was revealed early in his career and led him to become art director and graphic designer for events in Amsterdam in the early 90s. He then decided to devote himself entirely to his second project, by Parra, which aims to be a sartorial outlet for his creativity, with collections that have been thoughtfully produced in an eco-responsible way, customized silhouettes and screen prints to present his art in the best possible way. The brand is famous for its pop color palettes and use of experimental typography.
